Soran Safari, Shaho Mahmoudi, Nouraddin Dodkanlou, Omid Rahsh, Keyvan Mamehgoli, As’ad Rasoulzadeh, Pouria Nasiri, Mehran Khediripour, and Soroush Yousefzadeh, nine citizens from the city of Mahabad have been arrested by security forces and transferred to unknown locations.
According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, Shaho Mahmoudi (from the village of Gugtappeh), Soran Safari (from Mahabad), As’ad Rasoulzadeh, Nouraddin Dodkanlou Milan, and Omid Rahsh (from the village of Kuseh-Kahriz) were arrested by security forces in Mahabad and taken to undisclosed locations.
In a previous report published by Kolbar News, it was noted that on Thursday, June 19, 2025, four other Mahabad residents Keyvan Mamehgoli (from the village of Gugtappeh), Pouria Nasiri, Mehran Khediripour, and Soroush Yousefzadeh had also been arrested and similarly taken to unknown locations.
According to the report, all nine arrests were carried out without the presentation of judicial warrants.
As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests, the locations of detention, or any charges brought against these citizens.
