Sa’doun Ghazali, a citizen from Mahabad, was arrested after being summoned to the Enforcement of Sentences Branch of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in this city and transferred to Mahabad Prison to serve a one-year prison sentence.

According to Kolbarnews, in recent days, Sa’doun Ghazali was arrested after appearing at the Enforcement of Sentences Branch of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Mahabad and was transferred to the city’s prison to serve his sentence.
According to information received, this citizen had previously been sentenced by Branch One of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Sayami, to one year of imprisonment and one year of suspended imprisonment on charges of “assembly and collusion against national security.”
Sa’doun Ghazali was arrested on Sunday, June 21, 2025, without the presentation of a judicial warrant, at his family’s home by security forces and was transferred to one of the security detention centers in Urmia for interrogation.
After spending some time in detention, he was temporarily released from Mahabad Prison on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, after posting bail of three billion tomans.
