According to Kolbarnews, in the early hours of Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Siyavash Soltani, a resident of Mahabad and the son of Kabri Shaykha, one of the martyrs of the Jina Revolution, was detained by security forces. The arrest occurred after security forces raided his home at 3:00 AM.
Kabri Shaykha, 59 years old and a resident of Mahabad, was killed on November 5, 2022, during nationwide protests after the funeral of Esmail Moloudi, another victim of the Jina Revolution, when security forces opened fire on protesters.
