Military forces from the IRGC Intelligence Unit and Law Enforcement (NAJA) stormed Gonich village, in the Karavandar district of Khash County, opening fire on residents and resulting in the death of one Baloch woman and the injury of 11 others.
According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, military forces raided the village around 5 a.m., allegedly searching for armed opposition elements, and opened fire on local residents, causing widespread panic, especially among women and children.
The identity of the woman killed is Khan-Bibi Bamari, aged 40, who died after being shot in the kidney. Among the injured are:

Esra Bamari and Lali Bamari were seriously wounded by gunfire and are currently in the ICU at Khomeini Hospital in Khash.
Additionally, Reyhaneh Bamari, a pregnant woman, reportedly lost her fetus after being kicked by security forces and hit by pellet rounds.
The armed raid caused panic, and villagers protested the illegal and violent incursion. In response, security forces fired at homes, women, and children. Afterward, village women set tires on fire and blocked entry and exit routes to protest the attack.
This incident is a stark example of escalating violence against civilians in peripheral regions under the pretext of combating armed opposition.
