Kermanshah; Death of Amirali Abbasifar During Nationwide Protests

Amirali Abbasifar (Dokanayi), a citizen from Kermanshah, has been identified as one of those killed during the nationwide protests in this city.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, 7 January 2026, Amirali Abbasifar (Dokanayi) was shot with live ammunition by forces of the Islamic Republic during public protests in the Dabir-e Azam neighborhood of Kermanshah and lost his life.
The body of this Kurdish citizen was buried in one of the cemeteries of the city of Kermanshah.

Based on a pattern reported in many similar cases of people killed during the nationwide protests, security institutions have pressured families during the process of handing over bodies and holding burial ceremonies. By demanding large sums of money up to 700 million tomans, they have sought to prevent public information-sharing, public mourning ceremonies, and independent follow-up regarding the circumstances of the victims’ deaths.
