Cultural activist Sorwat Sohrabi has been detained by security forces in Kermanshah since last week.
According to Kolbernews, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Sorwat Sohrabi, a 36-year-old cultural activist from Javanroud and a resident of Kermanshah, was arrested by Intelligence Department agents in front of his wife’s shop. He was then transferred to the agency’s detention center.
Reports indicate that Sohrabi is facing charges of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
As of now, no further details about his condition or legal status are available.
