Karaj; Death of Moein Ranjbar by Three Live Bullets in Malard

Moein (Homayoun) Ranjbar, a 27-year-old Kurdish young man from Kermanshah and a resident of Karaj, has been identified as another victim of the nationwide protests.

According to Kolbarnews, on Friday, January 9, 2026, Moein (Homayoun) Ranjbar was directly targeted by three live bullets fired by suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during public protests in the Malard area of Karaj and died after being struck in the head.

According to information received from an informed source, the shooting was carried out by sniper forces, and this young citizen lost his life at the scene due to the severity of his injuries.

The body of Moein (Homayoun) Ranjbar was buried on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Berimond Cemetery in Kermanshah.

He held a high school diploma and was also actively involved in sports activities.
