Harsin; Arbitrary Arrest of a Citizen and Transfer to an Unknown Location

As the wave of arbitrary arrests of citizens continues in Kurdistan, a resident of Harsin, in Kermanshah Province, was arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant and transferred to an unknown location.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Monday, January 5, 2026, Mohammadreza Dolatyari, a citizen from Harsin, was arrested by security forces and immediately taken to an undisclosed location. According to the report, the arrest was carried out without presenting any judicial order, and so far no information is available regarding his place of detention, physical condition, legal status, or the charges brought against him.

As of the time of writing this report, the family’s efforts to learn about Mohammadreza Dolatyari’s fate have gone unanswered, and security authorities have refused to provide an official explanation.
