Two Baloch Sukhtbars were severely injured following a collision and subsequent fire involving two Sukhtbari vehicles in Golshan County.

According to Kolbarews, on Monday, March 24, 2025, the accident occurred in the Derpan border region of Golshan County, leading to a devastating fire.
One of the injured Sukhtbars has been identified as Mehrshad Sepahi, son of Falak, a resident of Golshan.
Reports indicate that Mehrshad sustained severe burn injuries and was transferred to Razi Hospital in Saravan for treatment.
The second injured Sukhtbar, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, also suffered severe burns and injuries.
Further details on the cause of the collision or the current condition of the injured individuals are yet to be released.
Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous occupations that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
