Zanko Mohammadi (Seyed Hossein Mohammadi), a Kurdish citizen from Bukan County, has been sentenced by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic to one year of discretionary imprisonment.

According to Kolbarnews, in recent days, Zanko Mohammadi, a resident of the village of “Ali-Kand” in Bukan County, was sentenced by the Court of Appeals to one year in prison on the charge of “cooperating with an opposition political party.”
Previously, Zanko Mohammadi had been sentenced to one year in prison by Branch 101 of the Bukan Criminal Court 2, presided over by Judge Valaei, for the same charge.
Zanko Mohammadi (Seyed Hossein Mohammadi) was initially arrested on Friday, July 31, 2025, by security forces and was temporarily released on August 15, 2025, after posting a bail of 500 million tomans, pending the completion of legal proceedings.
Zanko Mohammadi had previously been arrested and sentenced to prison due to his political activities.
