Bukan; Milad Naseri Summoned and Detained to Serve Prison Sentence

Milad Naseri, a 17-year-old teenager from the city of Bukan, was detained and transferred to Bukan Prison after appearing at the city’s Enforcement of Judgments Office to begin serving his 18-month prison sentence.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Milad Naseri, a 17-year-old resident of the village of “Kani Rash” in Bukan County, was arrested after being summoned by the Enforcement Office and transferred to Bukan Central Prison to serve his 18-month sentence.

Milad Naseri was recently sentenced by the Islamic Revolutionary Court of Bukan to 18 months of discretionary imprisonment on charges of “membership in one of the opposition parties to the Iranian government.”

Milad Naseri was initially arrested by security forces on Wednesday, October 24, 2024, in the village of Kani Rash, Bukan, and taken to an undisclosed location. He was eventually released on Thursday, November 7, 2024, after fifteen days in detention, upon posting bail of 400 million tomans, pending the conclusion of judicial proceedings.
