According to a notification issued on April 18, 2024, by the first branch of the Bukan court, presided over by investigator Mehdi Fakhri, and served to Matin Hassani, he has been asked to appear in this branch within five days for his final defense regarding the charge of “propaganda against the regime.”
On January 23, 2023, Matin Hassani was detained by security forces at his family’s home without a judicial order. After a month, he was released from Bukan prison after posting bail.
Matin Hassani lost one of his eyes during the October 2019 nationwide protests in Bukan due to the shooting of security forces.
