The Tehran Province Coroner announced a 3.5% increase in work-related fatalities in the year 1402.
According to Kolbarnews, Mehdi Forouzesh, the Director-General of Forensic Medicine in Tehran Province, stated in an official report that in 1402, there was a 3.5% increase in the number of fatalities resulting from work-related accidents in the province.
According to the statistics provided by Forouzesh, in 1402, 414 individuals lost their lives due to work-related accidents, compared to 400 in 1401, indicating a 3.5% increase in fatalities from work-related accidents.
Additionally, according to the official, in 1402, 239 women and 2,799 men were injured in accidents resulting from work-related incidents. This is in contrast to a total of 2,943 individuals who were involved in accidents resulting from work-related incidents in 1401, of which 211 were women and 2,732 were men.
The dissemination of this regrettable statistic comes at a time when previously, the Iranian Legal Medicine Organization had reported a 15.7% increase in work-related fatalities in the first half of 1402.
