A Sukhtbar died after a Peugeot 405 collided with a Nissan pickup truck and a tractor-trailer in the vicinity of Gosht, a city in Saravan County.
According to Kolbarnews, citing sources in Balochistan, on Thursday, August 20, 2026, a Sukhtbar lost his life following a traffic accident in the vicinity of Gosht, Saravan County.
According to published reports, the Peugeot 405 belonging to the Sukhtbar collided with a Nissan pickup truck and a tractor-trailer, causing the vehicle to overturn after the crash.
In a video published from the scene, one of the citizens present stated that an ambulance had also been dispatched to the scene, but refused to transport the Sukhtbar.
No information has yet been published regarding the reason for this.

Sukhtbars turn to transporting fuel to make a living due to the lack of stable employment opportunities and difficult economic conditions, and in the course of this work they face dangers such as road accidents, pursuits by military forces, and shootings.
Sukhtbari is considered one of the unconventional and dangerous jobs that many Baloch people in Balochistan have been forced to turn to due to the lack of suitable and stable employment. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct gunfire from military and security forces are among the dangers that threaten the lives of these Sukhtbars.According to the 2025 annual report of the Baluchistan Human Rights Documentation Network, at least 262 Sukhtbars were killed or injured. Of these, 173 Sukhtbars lost their lives due to gunfire by military forces, road accidents during pursuits by security forces, or explosions caused by mines planted by the IRGC, while 89 others were injured. Four child Sukhtbars were among those killed.
