The lack of an examination center in the Kafeh Balochi district prevented students from attending their final exams.
According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, May 20, 2024, female students in Kafeh Balochi missed their final exams due to the absence of an assigned examination center in their district.
Local officials had repeatedly requested the establishment of an examination center for this district, which has a total of 250 students. This request was approved by the provincial education management. However, the county governor of Megas opposed the request, preventing the exams from taking place in this district.
This decision sparked a strong reaction from the students’ parents, who were concerned about their children’s safety on the long and unsafe journey to the examination center. Consequently, they decided to keep their children from participating in the exams.
It is worth noting that on May 15, the provincial director of education had promised the residents of Kafeh Balochi that an examination center would be established in their district and that the final exams would be held there. However, the county governor of Megas opposed the plan, canceling the exams in Kafeh Balochi.
