Hiwa Seifizadeh, a classical music artist and instructor, who was arrested while performing at a concert in Tehran, has been released on bail. Several members of her band had previously been released under similar conditions.

According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, Hiwa Seifizadeh was freed on bail. Reports indicate that she and her band members were arrested for holding a concert without official authorization from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
Seifizadeh was detained on Thursday, February 29, while performing at Roo Be Roo Mansion in Tehran and was taken to an undisclosed location. Following her arrest, her Instagram page was blocked by the Public Security Police under judicial orders.
Hiwa Seifizadeh had previously expressed support for protesters during the Jina Revolution, performing songs without mandatory hijab as a sign of solidarity.
Born in 1997, she is a singer, classical music instructor, and tonbak player, with experience in theater acting.
