Hiwa Ahmadi, Soran Soltani, Rahim Ghodrati, Mohammad Zabihi, and Edris Alimohammadi, five detained citizens from the city of Saqqez have been temporarily released from Saqqez Central Prison on bail, pending the completion of judicial proceedings.
According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, these five individuals were released after being transferred from a security detention facility in Saqqez to the city’s central prison following the conclusion of their interrogations.
It is worth noting that during their detention, they were denied access to legal counsel and family visitation.
In the early hours of Monday, May 26, 2025, Soran Soltani, Rahim Ghodrati, Hiwa Ahmadi, Edris Alimohammadi, and Mohammad Zabihi were arrested by security forces in Saqqez and taken to an undisclosed location.
