Sanandaj: Violent Arrest of a Citizen by Security Forces

Benyamin Rahimpour, a resident of the village of “Avihang” near Sanandaj, was violently arrested by security forces who raided his shop and transferred him to the IRGC Intelligence detention center.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, 33-year-old Benyamin Rahimpour, a resident of Avihang village, was detained by security forces. The report states that security forces stormed his workplace, violently arrested him, and transferred him to the Shahramfar IRGC Intelligence detention center.

Following the arrest, security forces also raided his family home, intimidating his family and confiscating personal belongings.

As of the time of this report, no information is available about the reasons for his arrest or the charges against him.
