Marivan: Six Days After Arrest, No Information on Rafigh Mostafaei’s Whereabouts

Rafigh Mostafaei, a 42-year-old resident of the village of Mosak in Marivan, remains in incommunicado detention six days after his arrest by security forces.

According to Kolbarnews, Mostafaei was detained on Friday, August 1, 2025, by security forces without the presentation of a judicial warrant and was transferred to an undisclosed location.
Since his arrest, there has been no information available regarding his whereabouts or legal status, raising serious concerns among his family.

Sources report that Mr. Mostafaei has been denied access to legal representation and contact with his family since his detention.

As of the time of reporting, the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, and his place of detention remain unknown.
