Marivan: Ongoing Detention of Azad Rahimi Without Charges

Azad Rahimi, a 32-year-old resident of Sanandaj, has been detained for 48 days in Marivan prison without any clear charges or trial.

According to Kolbarnews, Azad Rahimi was arrested by security forces on the road from Marivan to Sanandaj 48 days ago. After his arrest, he was first taken to the IRGC intelligence office and, after two weeks of interrogation, transferred to Mariwan prison.

Despite ongoing efforts by hisfamily to learn about his situation, security agencies have not provided any information or answers regarding his status.

As of now, the reasons for his arrest and the charges against him remain unknown.
