Hassan Mehrabi, a 42-year-old resident of Ney village in Marivan County, was arrested by plainclothes security agents and transferred to an unknown location.
According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Hassan Mehrabi was summoned by the Marivan governor’s office under the pretext of following up on matters related to state subsidies. Shortly afterward, he was arrested in one of the city’s squares by plainclothes security forces and taken away to an undisclosed location.
According to the report, the arrest was carried out without a judicial warrant and without the authorities stating any reason for his detention.
More than 24 hours after his arrest, there is still no information about his whereabouts, condition, or the reason for his detention.
