A group of political prisoners, members of the “Tuesday Against Execution” campaign in Ghezel Hesar Prison, held a symbolic and courageous memorial ceremony in honor of the late Mojahid Kourkour, expressing solidarity with his family and commemorating his memory.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Thursday, June 12, 2025, political prisoners affiliated with the “Tuesday Against Execution” campaign in Ghezel Hesar Prison held a symbolic and brave ceremony to honor the memory of Mojahid Kourkour.
The event featured the singing of the revolutionary anthem “Baradar” (“Brother”) and the meaningful participation of prisoners, who filled the ward with chants against executions and repression.
Slogans such as “No to execution,” “Death to the executioner regime,” and “By the blood of our comrades, we stand until the end” were shouted during the event an act that once again demonstrated the inner resilience and resistance of prisoners against the regime’s repressive policies.
Such memorials in prison serve as powerful symbols of ongoing struggle and a tribute to those who gave their lives in the pursuit of freedom, justice, and resistance.
At a time when pressures, crackdowns, and harsh sentences against political prisoners continue, ceremonies like this affirm that the voice of the freedom-seeking cannot be silenced.
