Bukan: Death Threat Against a Journalist and Political Activist, and Board Member of Kolbarnews by Regime’s Security Forces

Saeed Amani, a journalist, political activist, and board member of Kolbarnews, has been threatened with death by the regime’s security forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, July 16, 2023, the regime’s security forces summoned the family of Saeed Amani, a journalist, political activist, and board member of Kolbarnews, to the intelligence office of this city. They threatened the family and informed them that if Saeed Amani’s activities continue to intensify, they would be forced to physically eliminate him.

It should be noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has assassinated dozens of political activists, members of Kurdish political parties in Iran, and several civilians in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Kolbarnews strongly condemns the threat against this political activist, journalist, and board member, holding the criminal Islamic regime directly responsible for his safety.

It is worth mentioning that Saeed Amani, a former political prisoner who spent five years in the regime’s dungeons, is a journalist, political activist, and board member of Kolbarnews. Since 2003, due to death threats from the regime, he was forced to leave Iranian Kurdistan and has been residing in Iraqi Kurdistan ever since.
