Behrouz Yazdanpanah, a 56-year-old resident of Bukan, was violently arrested by Intelligence Ministry agents and transferred to a security detention center in Urmia.
According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, Behrouz Yazdanpanah was arrested by security forces and taken to one of Urmia’s security detention centers. The report states that agents from the Intelligence Ministry in Bukan raided his home and carried out the arrest with the use of violence.
The arrest was made without the presentation of a judicial warrant.
Mr. Yazdanpanah had previously been arrested during the Jina revolutionary movement on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, by security forces in Saqqez and was later transferred to a security detention center in Tehran.
