Urmia: Sosan Hassanzadeh Sent to Prison to Serve Sentence

Sosan Hassanzadeh, a resident of Bukan, has been arrested and transferred to Urmia Prison to serve her prison sentence.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Hassanzadeh was taken into custody to serve a three-month prison term issued by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court of Bukan for the charge of “propaganda against the regime.”

Hassanzadeh, a Kurdish language instructor, was previously arrested by security forces on May 15, 2024. She was released on bail from Urmia Prison on June 13, 2024, pending her trial.
