Urmia: Ahmad Mamzadeh Released on Bail

Ahmad Mamzadeh has been temporarily released from Urmia prison on a bail of three billion tomans, pending the completion of legal proceedings.

According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, Ahmad Mamzadeh, a citizen from Bukan, was temporarily released from Urmia prison after posting a bail of three billion tomans, until the end of the legal process. Ahmad Mamzadeh was arrested by security forces in Bukan on April 15, 2023, and was transferred to the Urmia Intelligence Department’s detention center for interrogation. After the interrogation process was completed, he was moved to Urmia prison.As of the time of this report, no information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges against him.
