Tekab: Continuous Summons and Interrogation of Farshad Faraji Following Release on Heavy 3-Billion-Toman Bail

Farshad Faraji, a resident of Tekab, has once again become the target of pressure, repeated summons, and interrogation by security agencies just days after his temporary release on a heavy bail of 3 billion tomans. He was violently arrested by security forces without a judicial warrant on May 18, 2025, and continues to live under an atmosphere of threat and repression.

According to Kolbarnews, the security forces raided Faraji’s home with violence, beating him, ransacking the house, throwing belongings into the yard, seizing his mobile phone, and taking him away without any explanation.

After three full days with no information about his whereabouts, he was charged on May 21 with “propaganda against the regime” and released on bail of 3 billion tomans.

According to information received by Kolbarnews, since Faraji’s release, security agencies have repeatedly summoned and interrogated him.

He was summoned again on Friday, May 23, and is required to report once more today, Saturday, May 24. Meanwhile, the location of his initial detention remains unknown, and none of his confiscated belongings have been returned.
