Sanandaj: Summoning and Interrogation of Two Environmental Activists

Two environmental activists from Sanandaj were summoned and interrogated by the city’s security authorities.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 16, 2025, environmental activists Arman Salimi and Qane Khatari were summoned to the Intelligence Office in Sanandaj. After several hours of interrogation, they were released.

It is worth noting that both activists had previously been arrested for participating in Nowruz celebrations and environmental activities, subsequently receiving prison sentences.

As of the time of this report, no information is available about the reasons for their summoning or any potential charges against them.
