Sanandaj: Sirveh Pourmohammadi Summoned to Serve Prison Sentence

Sirveh Pourmohammadi, a member of the cultural and social association “Nozhin”, has been summoned to begin serving a five-year prison sentence.

According to Kolbarnews, she received an official summons to begin serving her sentence. In December 2024, the Kurdistan Province Court of Appeals sentenced her to five years in prison on charges of “forming a group with the intent to disrupt national security.”

Previously, in the preliminary trial, Branch 1 of the Sanandaj Revolutionary Court had sentenced her to 10 years in prison on the same charge.

Sarveh Pourmohammadi was originally arrested by security forces on January 29, 2023, and released 16 days later on bail from the Sanandaj Juvenile Correction and Rehabilitation Center.
