Kavan Sabouri, a 17-year-old from the village of Gazrkhani in Kamiyaran County, was released from Sanandaj Central Prison after 20 days of detention by security forces, upon posting bail of 500 million tomans. His release is temporary, pending the completion of judicial proceedings.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, 17-year-old Kavan Sabouri, a resident of Gazrkhani village in Kamiyaran County, was temporarily released after 20 days in detention.
He was arrested along with five other minors: Ouraz Zamani (17), Behrooz Rashidi (17), Soran Mozaffari (17), Payam Hosseini (17), and Ehsan Sabouri (17), all from Kamiyaran, and was transferred to the Shahramfar Security Detention Center in Sanandaj three weeks ago.
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, five of the detained minors, Kavan Sabouri (17), Ouraz Zamani (17), Behrooz Rashidi (17), Soran Mozaffari, and Payam Hosseini (17) were transferred from the Kamiyaran Intelligence Office detention facility to Sanandaj’s Shahramfar Security Detention Center for interrogation. Another 17-year-old, Ehsan Sabouri, was taken to Sanandaj’s Juvenile Correction and Rehabilitation Center. Security forces have refused to provide families with any information about their situation, causing serious concern among relatives.
Earlier, on Tuesday, September 8, 2025, Soran Mozaffari from Kamiyaran, together with Ouraz Zamani (17) and Behrooz Rashidi (17), both from the village of Palangan in Kamiyaran County, were arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
According to reports, Soran Mozaffari suffers from diabetes and requires regular medical care and insulin injections.
On Thursday, September 10, 2025, 17-year-old Payam Hosseini, from the village of Loon Sadat and residing in Kamiyaran, was arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
In the early hours of Friday, September 11, 2025, 17-year-olds Kavan Sabouri and Ehsan Sabouri, both from Gazrakhani village in Kamiyaran County, were also arrested by security forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
It is important to note that in all six cases, security forces raided the children’s homes without presenting judicial warrants and carried out the arrests violently.
As of the time of this report, no information has been released regarding the charges or reasons for the arrests of these minors.
