After three days since his arrest Qane Khatari, an environmental activist from Sanandaj, remains missing, raising concerns among his family and supporters.
According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Qane Khatari was arrested by security forces in Sanandaj and taken to an undisclosed location. Reports indicate that he was detained without a judicial warrant.
Qane Khatari had previously been summoned by the Intelligence Office of Sanandaj on Thursday, January 15, 2025, where he was interrogated for several hours before being released.
It is worth noting that he has a history of previous arrests and convictions due to his participation in Nowruz celebrations and environmental activism.
As of now, no information is available about the reasons for his arrest, his location, or any charges against him.
