Qorveh: Arrest of Two Citizens by Security Forces

Zahed Khalidian and Wahid Khalidian, two residents of Qorveh, were arrested by security forces in connection with the general strike of shopkeepers and merchants in Kurdistan cities protesting the death penalty ruling. They have been transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, January 23, 2025, Zahed Khalidian (35) and his brother Wahid Khalidian (32), both residents of Qorveh, were detained by security forces in the city.
The arrest occurred at their workplace and was carried out violently without presenting a judicial warrant.
