A vehicle overturn accident in QaserQand County resulted in the death of one Baloch Sukhtbar and the serious injury of another.

According to Kolbarews, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, a Sukhtbari vehicle overturned near the village of Banship in QaserQand County. As a result, one Sukhtbar lost his life due to severe injuries, and another was critically injured.
The deceased Sukhtbar has been identified as Mehdi Raisi, son of Dara, who was married with children.
The injured individual is Peyman Tano, both residents of the village of Chandukan in Qaser Qand County.
Local sources reported: “Yesterday morning, around 9:00 a.m., Mehdi and Peyman were returning home when their vehicle veered off the road for unknown reasons and overturned near Banship. Mehdi died due to severe injuries, and Peyman was critically injured. He has been transferred to the intensive care unit at Nikshahr County Hospital for treatment.”
Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous occupations that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
