Abdollah Azhir, a resident of Piranshahr, has been in detention for nearly a month after being arrested by security forces, with no information available regarding his whereabouts.
According to Kolbarnews, nearly a month has passed since the arrest of Abdollah Azhir, and he remains in custody.
The report states that Azhir was arrested on March 16, 2025, by security forces at his home in Piranshahr and was transferred to an unknown location. At the time of arrest, agents also confiscated several of his personal belongings.
Despite the family’s inquiries with judicial and security authorities, no clear answers have been provided regarding the reasons for his arrest or his current location. Since his detention, he has been denied access to legal representation and contact with his family.
Abdollah Azhir, 45, son of Mostafa, is married and the father of three children. He is originally from the village of Sarokani in the Piranshahr region.
