According to Kolbarnews, on Monday, September 8, 2025, Emad Daroftadeh, 19 years old, a member of the justice-seeking families and the brother of Komar Daraftadeh, one of the children killed during the Jina revolutionary movement in Piranshahr, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
Based on the report, Emad Daroftadeh was arrested after visiting the Piranshahr Intelligence Office.
It is noteworthy that, in relation to this case, on Sunday, September 7, 2025, forces from the Piranshahr Intelligence Office raided the family home in the village of Zivokeh, Piranshahr County, in an attempt to arrest Emad Daroftadeh.
Due to Emad’s absence, his 70-year-old father, Rahman Daroftadeh, was arrested and taken to the Intelligence Office. Rahman Daroftadeh was released seven hours later on the condition that his son would report to the Piranshahr Intelligence Office.
On the evening of Sunday, October 30, 2022, Komar Daroftadeh, a 16-year-old teenager, was shot and killed by security forces, and his body was buried on Monday, October 31, 2022, in the village of Zivokeh, Piranshahr County.
