Piranshahr: A Worker Dies After Falling from a Building

Ahmad Salaki, a 62-year-old worker from Piranshahr, who fell from a construction site about 12 days ago, passed away after spending several days in a coma at Naqadeh Hospital.

According to Kolbarnews, the elderly worker had suffered severe injuries in the fall, leading to brain death. Despite doctors’ efforts, he passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Naqadeh Hospital.

Iran ranks 102nd globally in terms of workplace safety, a very low ranking. It is considered one of the most dangerous countries for workers, with many workers suffering accidents each year due to unsafe working conditions.
