Zaniar Khezri, a resident of Piranshahr, has been released from Naqadeh Central Prison on bail after 33 days in detention.
According to Kolbarnews, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Zaniar Khezri, a 33-year-old resident of the village of Andizeh in Piranshahr County, was temporarily released on bail pending the completion of judicial proceedings.
The report also notes that Aziz Khezri, Zaniar’s father, has been transferred to Mahabad Prison.
In the early morning of Thursday, July 10, 2025, 57-year-old Aziz Khezri and his 33-year-old son Zaniar Khezri, both residents of Andizeh village in Piranshahr County, were arrested by the county’s Intelligence Department forces and taken to an undisclosed location.
At the time of this report, the reasons for their arrest and the charges against them remain unknown.
