Akam Khezrzadeh, a resident of Piranshahr, has been arrested and transferred to Naqadeh Prison to serve his prison sentence.
According to Kolbarnews, today, Sunday, June 30, 2024, following the issuance of an arrest warrant, Akam Khezrzadeh was detained by security forces at his family home in Piranshahr and transferred to Naqadeh Prison to serve his prison sentence.
In May 2024, Akam Khezrzadeh was sentenced to two years in prison by Branch 102 of the Piranshahr Criminal Court 2, presided over by Judge Majid Amir Mohammadi, on charges of “collaborating with opposition parties.”
Akam Khezrzadeh, a resident of Piranshahr, was previously arrested by security forces on July 5, 2022, and after completing his interrogation period at a security detention center in Urmia, he was transferred to Naghadeh Prison. He was eventually released on bail on September 11, 2022.
