Pouria Nasiri, Mehran Khediripour, and Soroush Yousefzadeh, three residents of the city of Mahabad, have been arrested by local security forces.
According to Kolbarnews, on Thursday, June 19, 2025, security forces in Mahabad arrested Mehran Khediripour, Soroush Yousefzadeh, and Pouria Nasiri.
The report states that Pouria Nasiri, an undergraduate law student at Islamic Azad University of Mahabad, was arrested by plainclothes agents on one of the city’s streets, while Mr. Yousefzadeh and Mr. Khediripour were detained at their private residences in Mahabad.
The arrests were reportedly carried out without a judicial warrant.
