Local sources in Damavand County have reported ongoing security pressures and an increasing trend of dismissals of seasonal workers in the region.

According to Kolbarnews, about a month ago, security forces launched a coordinated raid on the homes of several seasonal workers. According to relatives of these workers, the operation created an atmosphere of fear and intimidation, during which officers insulted and humiliated the workers while confiscating their personal belongings, including mobile phones, tablets, and personal computers. These items have not yet been returned to their owners.
In recent weeks, many of these workers have been repeatedly summoned and interrogated by security and intelligence agencies. Reports indicate that some of them have been threatened with arrest or exile.
About two weeks ago, Farzad Rostami, one of the seasonal workers, was summoned to a security office in Damavand. His family and colleagues say that since his summons, no information has been made available about his condition or whereabouts.
The names of several workers who have reportedly been subjected to beatings and mistreatment during these pressures are as follows:
Mehdi Ghasemi
Jalal Mohammadi
Farshad Malekdokht
Shapour Habibi
Siwan Ghasemi
Jamil Safidi
Eghbal Moradi Zar
Farzid Rostami
Saeed Heydarzadeh
Farzad Rostami
Farzad Sharifi
Fateh Mahmoudi
Shaho Ghasemi

Labor activists have expressed deep concern over the continuation of this trend and have called for an end to security pressures and for the workers to be reinstated to their jobs.
