The global order, marked by flawed structures and political-economic violence under state centrality, deprives many worldwide of dignified lives and equal access to resources. In this inhuman system, issues like “Kolbari” in Kurdistan emerge, stemming from inequality, historical discrimination, and systematic oppression due to poverty, unemployment, environmental degradation, militarization, and denial.
Sustainable industrial jobs lack in regions like Kurdistan and Balochistan due to budget marginalization, insufficient infrastructure, and a divisive, security-centric approach. This results in economic underdevelopment, poverty, unemployment, and instability.
Kurdistan and Baluchistan face extreme oppression, exemplified by “Kolbari, Sukhtbari” with diverse segments suffering, including unemployed laborers, women as breadwinners, marginalized rural residents, and educated jobless individuals. Kolbari is central to assessing Kurdistan’s economic and political condition.
The government plays a significant role in promoting Kolbari, benefiting from cheap labor and maintaining control in these regions.
Kolbari’s perilous nature exposes laborers to various forms of violence, including organized attacks. The responsibility falls on the Kurdish community and the labor movement to unite in protest against these injustices and compel change.
