On Monday, April 21, 2025, a Baloch child Sukhtbar lost his life due to a vehicle overturn on the Jolgeh Chah-Hashem road.

According to Kolbarnews, the accident occurred near the Jolgeh Chah-Hashem area and resulted in severe injuries to Arshia Damani, a 17-year-old Sukhtbar from the village of Piranach in the Damen district of Iranshahr County.
Arshia was transferred to Iranshahr Hospital, but due to severe internal bleeding, he passed away shortly after.
Local sources reported that he was en route to the Hashtbandi area to load fuel when a passing heavy truck caused a strong gust of wind, leading him to lose control of his Nissan vehicle, which overturned. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries approximately ten hours after the accident.
Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous occupations that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
