IRGC forces in Dashtyari violently arrested a Baloch Sukhtbar and confiscated his vehicle.

According to Kolbarnews, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, IRGC intelligence forces, after a chase in the Dargas district of Dashtyari County, violently beat and arrested a Baloch Sukhtbar, transferring him to an unknown location.
The detained Sukhtbar has been identified as Anwar Darpeh, 35 years old, son of Mohammad, married, and father of two children, a resident of Dargas district, Bahu Kalat region.
Reports indicate that security forces not only arrested him violently but also seized his vehicle. No information is currently available regarding his whereabouts.
Sukhtbari considered one of the unconventional and dangerous occupations that many Baloch people in Balochistan are forced to engage in due to the lack of suitable and stable employment opportunities. Accidents, vehicle overturns, and direct shootings by military and security forces are some of the dangers that threaten the lives of Sukhtbars. According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
