On the third consecutive day of Israeli airstrikes on Iran, dozens of sites across 19 provinces were targeted, resulting in at least 23 people killed or injured on Sunday alone. The total number of casualties over the past three days has surpassed 1,005.

According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, June 15, 2025, the Israeli military targeted strategic and civilian sites in the provinces of Tehran, Alborz, Fars, Kermanshah, Isfahan, Khuzestan, East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Markazi, Hamedan, Qom, Yazd, Semnan, Zanjan, Kurdistan, Bushehr, Razavi Khorasan, Gilan, and Lorestan.
The airstrikes struck residential areas, military facilities, energy infrastructure, and industrial complexes, leaving at least 23 casualties on the third day alone. With the addition of casualties from the first two days, the total number of dead and injured has exceeded 1,005. Iran’s Ministry of Health has issued an even higher official toll, announcing 1,481 casualties.
In Tehran, neighborhoods including Narmak, Ekhtiyariyeh, Mirdamad, Tehranpars, Saadatabad, Niavaran, Janatabad, and Ashtiani Square were hit. Key targets included the Tehran Oil Refinery, Ministry of Defense installations in Nobonyad and Pasdaran, fuel depots in southern and western Tehran, and missile sites in western Tehran Province and Karaj.

In Fars Province, an electronics factory in Shiraz sustained damage. In Kermanshah, the Kaico factory and surrounding industrial zones were hit. In Isfahan, strikes targeted southern areas and the city’s industrial outskirts. In Tabriz and Urmia, explosions were reported near military bases and fuel storage facilities. In Arak (Markazi Province), industrial centers were targeted. Reports of damage also emerged from Hamedan, Qom, Yazd, and Semnan. In Bushehr, parts of the petrochemical complex and port infrastructure were struck. In Mashhad, industrial areas in the south and around the airport experienced explosions. Rasht and Khorramabad also reported damage in residential and public areas.
According to current data, 322 people have been confirmed dead and 683 injured over the three-day period. Among Sunday’s victims, at least 10 civilians, including several children in Narmak and a worker in Kermanshah, have been identified. Additionally, two senior IRGC commanders and the head of IRGC intelligence were reportedly killed.
The exact identities and conditions of many other victims remain unclear as assessments continue.
Sunday’s strikes also caused widespread disruptions to the national internet network, and access to WhatsApp was once again blocked. The Ministry of Communications cited “security concerns” for the outages. Meanwhile, at least 42 people were arrested by security forces in connection with reporting or sharing information about the attacks. Including previous arrests, the total number of detainees over the three days of conflict has reached approximately 100.
Official sources indicate that among the dead are 56 military personnel, with 31 others wounded. Further details about the full composition of the casualties have yet to be released as investigations continue in the affected regions.
