Bukan: Six Citizens Arrested by Security Forces

Six residents of Bukan, identified as Sediq Abbasnejad, Behzad Barjasteh, Keyvan Barjasteh, Shahab Tavan, Nima Ghorbanzadeh, and Khalegh Rahimi, were arrested by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Saturday, February 22, 2025, at least six citizens from Bukan were arrested and taken to an unknown location by security forces.

The identities of these individuals have been confirmed as:
Sediq Abbasnejad, son of Molla Rahman, from Qalai Halaku village. Behzad Barjasteh, son of Bayz. Keyvan Barjasteh, son of Taghi. Shahab Tavan, son of Khaland. Nima Ghorbanzadeh, son of Loghman, from Ebrahimabad village. Khalegh Rahimi, from Gamashgoli village, residing in Shinawa, Bukan County.

The report states that multiple teams of security forces from Miandoab and Urmia were involved in the arrests.

As of the time of this report, there is no information regarding the reasons for the arrests, the detainees’ whereabouts, or the charges brought against them.
