Bukan: Court Hearing Held for Masoud Mohammadi’s Charges

A court hearing for the charges against Masoud Mohammadi, a resident of Bukan, was held at Branch 101 of the Criminal Court Two of the city.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, Masoud Mohammadi’s trial was conducted at Branch 101 of the Criminal Court Two of Bukan, presided over by Judge Mehdi Fakhri. During the session, Mr. Mohammadi defended himself against the charge of “propaganda against the regime.”

Masoud Mohammadi was arrested on November 6, 2024, by security forces at his workplace in Bukan. After 18 days in detention, he was released on 600 million tomans bail.

Following his interrogation, he was transferred from the Urmia Intelligence Detention Center to Bukan Prison.

Masoud Mohammadi is a resident of the village of Gol, a district of Bukan.
