Ehsan Hamzehzadeh, a 17-year-old student from Bukan, was arrested by intelligence forces for participating in Nowruz celebrations and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to Kolbarnews, on Sunday, April 10, 2025, Ehsan Hamzehzadeh, a student from the village of Qalavi and resident of the Mirabad area of Bukan, was arrested by agents of the Islamic Republic’s Intelligence Department and taken to an unknown location.
Ehsan was a 11th-grade student at Meraj High School in Bukan. His arrest has been linked to his presence at Nowruz festivities.
According to a well-informed source, “Security forces lured him to the Bukan Public Library, where several vehicles belonging to the Intelligence Department were waiting nearby and arrested him.”
