Baneh: Rahman Ahmadi Arrested and Transferred to Prison for Sentence Execution

Rahman Ahmadi, a resident of Baneh, was arrested after being summoned to the city’s court and transferred to prison to serve his three-year sentence.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, Rahman Ahmadi was detained and taken to Baneh prison.
The report states that Rahman Ahmadi had been summoned to court regarding his bail document. In court, he was informed that the Baneh Revolutionary Court had sentenced him to three years of imprisonment on charges of “collaboration with an opposition party.” He was then arrested and transferred to prison to serve his sentence.

In August 2023, Rahman Ahmadi, along with Adel Ahmadi and Behzad Abidi, was arrested by Intelligence Ministry forces in the village of Sivuch, a district of Baneh. Behzad Abidi was released a day later, while Rahman and Adel Ahmadi were released on bail after a month.

Rahman Ahmadi is 34 years old, unmarried, and a resident of Sivuch village, Baneh County.
