Baneh; Arrest and Injury of a Citizen by Security Forces

Hushyar Shabani, a civil and social activist from the city of Baneh, was arrested and transferred to an unknown location after being injured by security forces.

According to Kolbarnews, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Hushyar Shabani, a civil and social activist from Baneh, was arrested and taken to an undisclosed location after being wounded by security forces. According to the report, security forces in plainclothes, without presenting a judicial warrant, raided the village of Kani Sur, where Mr. Shabani was present, and detained him.

According to a well-informed source, Mr. Shabani attempted to flee upon seeing the security forces, but they opened fire on him, severely injuring his leg.

It should be noted that Mr. Shabani has previously been summoned, interrogated, and arrested several times due to his civil and social activities.
