A military attack on a Sukhtbari vehicle at the Zabol-Zahedan highway checkpoint led to the vehicle overturning and catching fire, resulting in the deaths of two Sukhtbars.

According to Kolbarnews, on the evening of Wednesday, February 12, 2025, military forces opened fire on a Sukhtbari vehicle near the Zabol-Zahedan highway checkpoint. The shooting caused the vehicle to overturn and ignite, trapping the two occupants inside, who perished in the flames.

Reports indicate that officers at the scene did not attempt to rescue the victims and fled the area after witnessing the burning vehicle.

As of now, the identities of the two deceased Sukhtbars remain unknown.

According to reports by Baloch activists, in 2024, at least 240 Baloch Sukhtbars lost their lives due to shootings by military forces, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires, while 135 others were injured in these incidents, 19 of whom were children.
